HRC PALM SPRINGS ANNOUNCES GARDEN PARTY FEATURED SPEAKER - HRC President Kelley Robinson - 

Kelley Robinson is a trailblazing advocate and leader in the fight for human rights. As the President of the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), she is the first Black, queer woman to hold this position. HRC is the largest civil rights organization in the United States, dedicated to achieving equality and liberation for LGBTQ+ individuals. With over 15 years of experience, Robinson has spearheaded numerous successful campaigns for LGBTQ+, racial, and gender equity.

As a mark of her influence, Robinson was named to the 2024 TIME100. A powerful and inspiring speaker, Robinson regularly appears in national and international media outlets, including MSNBC, CNN, Sirius XM, The New York Times, The Washington Post and Politico.

HRC Palm Springs Garden Party and Silent Auction presented by Silvercrest, is an award-winning and extremely popular annual fundraiser, now in its 23rd year. 

This community supported event brings together members from across the nation along with friends, advocates and allies dressed in stylish and festive garden party attire for an afternoon of connection and inspired action, all in the name of EQUALITY, without exception. 

This is our biggest fundraiser for HRC in the region and will once again be hosted at a private estate in Palm Springs where guests enjoy full open-bar service sponsored by DIAGEO, featuring their premium spirit brands, afternoon snacks and nosh catered by Chef Ray Lopez (Cooking What You Crave). Our friend Matt Irby of PLAY Lounge & Café Palm Springs returns to offer the cold brew and iced coffee bar. The event features a robust silent auction where everyone is encouraged to Bid High for Equality.

NEW for 2024:  Wine Tasting featuring Barton Family Wines, Ancient Peaks Winery and Deux Seraux.

Produced by HRC Palm Springs and an all-volunteer planning committee, the event is supported by local and national sponsors and product & experience retailers who donate to the silent auction.

In 2023, the HRC Palm Springs Garden Party was recognized by HRC Headquarters as Signature Event of the Year and Community Event of the Year honoring the planning committee and leadership for delivering a premium guest experience and exceeding fundraising performance goals nationally.

The Desert Brew, which airs on NBC4 Palm Springs, dedicated an entire episode to the 2023 Garden Party and we are grateful for their support in sharing our story and our mission— equality for all LGBTQ+ Americans. Watch the episode.

HRC Palm Springs Garden Party - VIP Reception 

Friday, November 1, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 PM

Sponsors, Co-Hosts and Major Donors of HRC are invited to be recognized at an exclusive, VIP invitation-only reception that begins the weekend of Palm Springs PRIDE festivities. We are grateful for The Honorable James Costos (HRC Board of Directors and former U.S. Ambassador to Spain) and his husband Michael S. Smith who will host the reception at their estate in Rancho Mirage.
