Our strength is a direct reflection of the willingness of these Americans to become personally involved in the fight for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender equality.
Members are the foundation of our strength and since 1980, the Human Rights Campaign has advocated on behalf of LGBT Americans, mobilized grassroots actions in diverse communities, invested strategically to elect fair-minded individuals to office and educated the public about LGBT issues. HRC envisions an America where lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people are ensured equality and embraced as full members of the American family at home, at work and in every community.
