Awards are based on: Financial need and demonstrated perseverance and motivation to attend and complete post-secondary school. A majority are available to students from the Bay Area regions: Marin, Sonoma, San Francisco, Contra Costa, San Mateo, Santa Clara, and Napa counties. **Opens every year October 15th and the priority deadline for submission is March 2nd of the following year.

Open to current college or vocational students and to high school students entering college in the upcoming year. Full-time graduate and law school students also eligible. Applicants do not have to be U.S. citizens to be eligible but do have to attend U.S.-based institutions. Applicants for all awards must be atheists and must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher in academic subjects. All races, ethnicities, genders, and sexual orientations are encouraged to apply.
