HRC’s Equality Action Academy is a three-part online training series designed to give you the tools to take action locally in legislative and electoral campaigns.

This year, thousands of HRC members and supporters like you are taking action for LGBTQ equality all across the country. As part of our elite Equality Corps, you help us hold policy makers accountable, elect pro-equality candidates to office and recruit friends and family members as fellow volunteers in our cause.

We want to do everything we can to make sure you are equipped with the knowledge and skills you need. That’s why we’re launching our online Equality Action Academy as part of HRC’s Summer of Action.

A program of our new HRC Rising project, HRC’s Equality Action Academy is a three-part online training series designed to give you the tools to take action locally in legislative and electoral campaigns.

Academy trainings include the following topics:

HRC Rising: The fight for equality for all.
Field and Voter Contact: Organizing for pro-equality candidates and issues as a volunteer leader.
Conversations: Leveraging organizing and mobilizing conversations in your advocacy.
Grassroots Lobbying: Holding your elected leaders accountable.

Our dedicated National Field Team with dozens of years of experience in legislative, ballot and electoral campaigns, have shared their insights in over a dozen brief video modules that debrief the skills and concepts they have learned and apply every day in their work across the country.
