The city of Atlanta is gearing up for the November 7 municipal election in which Atlantans will cast their ballots for the next Atlanta mayor. HRC, along with our friends at Georgia Equality, have endorsed Cathy Woolard, who has dedicated most of her life’s work to #FightingForAtlanta. In addition to supporting Woolard, our friends at Georgia Equality have also endorsed a slate of pro-equality candidates for city council and board of education. For information, visit Atlanta Pro-Equality Slate.

With only two weeks until Election Day, we need your help. If you live in Atlanta or surrounding areas and would like to join HRC Atlanta volunteers in getting out the vote to elect Woolard, contact HRC Regional Field Organizer Hope Jackson at hope.jackson@hrc.org.
