Eric Genrich will work to ensure that Green Bay is an inclusive and welcoming place for everyone.
“Eric Genrich has spent his career in service to Wisconsin,” said HRC Wisconsin State Director Wendy Strout. “With a proven commitment to equality, Genrich will work to ensure that Green Bay is an inclusive and welcoming place for everyone. HRC is proud to endorse his candidacy and looks forward to working with him to advance LGBTQ equality.”
"I am so incredibly honored to be considered an ally of the LGBTQ community in the fight for equal rights and human freedom by HRC,” said former State Rep. Eric Genrich. “As I’ve said since the beginning of this campaign, a thriving, growing 21st century city is one that is open and welcoming. I’m eager to get to work, in concert with HRC and community members and leaders, to build a Green Bay that is worthy of that description, one that genuinely supports, values, and celebrates the contributions of all people.”
Eric Genrich previously served as the State Representative for the 90th Assembly District in Wisconsin. If elected, Genrich is committed to raising the Municipal Equality Index (MEI) score for Green Bay, WI. The MEI examines how inclusive municipal laws, policies and services are of LGBTQ people who live and work there. Green Bay scored a 28 on HRC’s 2018 MEI. Genrich is also committed to signing a pledge with “CEO Action for Diversity & Inclusion,” the largest CEO-driven business commitment to advance diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
