HRC Arkansas hosted its second Annual HRC Pool Party.
Post submitted by James K Rector, HRC Arkansas Field Organizer
Last month, HRC Arkansas hosted its second Annual HRC Pool Party at the home of Jeffrey Williams and Taylor Jacks. Attendees enjoyed music, drinks, snacks, games and networking with friends and community members.
“This event was an opportunity for community members to take a moment of much needed self care,” said Kendra R. Johnson, State Director of HRC Arkansas. “We know under the current administration that we have much work to be done leading into the 2018 elections, so it’s great to be able to provide a space for unity and a little fun.”
All the proceeds from the event go towards the fight for full LGBTQ equality, which helps support our efforts in Arkansas and beyond.
HRC Arkansas’ Volunteer Leadership Committee organized the event. The purpose of this committee is to develop social events for members and supporters and build a network of volunteers and supporters throughout Arkansas.
