All Children - All Families is the only national program dedicated to LGBTQ+ inclusion in child welfare that provides resource development, technical assistance and training.
HRC Foundation's All Children - All Families provides educational resources, training and technical assistance on LGBTQ+ inclusion for child welfare systems. Since 2007, ACAF has been the go-to resource for agencies looking to truly welcome and affirm LGBTQ+ prospective parents and transform their service delivery for LGBTQ+ youth in out-of-home care.
We’ve collected resources that outline the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ adoptive and foster parents that can provide basic information about the adoption and fostering process.
Utilizing ACAF’s organizational framework, agencies assess and ultimately implement a set of best practices – ACAF’s “Benchmarks of LGBTQ+ Inclusion”. Agencies that lead the field with implementing these benchmarks are formally recognized in ACAF’s Change-Makers Report.
If you have worked with a foster care or adoption agency that is welcoming and affirming of LGBTQ+ prospective parents, use this form to send us the agency's information so we can get them involved in All Children – All Families.
Participating agencies have access to innovative resources to guide their work to best serve LGBTQ+ children, youth and families. Complete the form and a member of the ACAF team will be in touch with the next steps to enroll your agency in ACAF's annual engagement cycle.
This monthly newsletter offers best practice resources based on challenges and inquiries that you and your peers are currently navigating – each newsletter will also feature the latest child welfare resources, share examples of how agencies like yours are leading the field, and much more!
