Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) introduced Article I of the impeachment of President Donald Trump regarding the president’s abuse of power by soliciting a foreign government to interfere in the 2020 U.S. presidential election.

The House impeached President Donald Trump on Article I on December 18, 2019, by a vote of 230-197 (Roll Call Vote No. 695, 1st Session, 116th Congress).
