Kennesaw State University (KSU) - The Safe Space Endowed Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to a full or part-time student, undergraduate or graduate, who has worked to enhance the lives of lesbian/gay/bisexual/transgender individuals through active involvement in on- or off-campus LGBT organizations. *Application opens November 1, 2023, deadline TBD

The fund is for those who can demonstrate financial need and a commitment to fostering multiculturalism on campus. For University of Kansas Lawrence campus students who have demonstrated support of the LGBTQ community, have financial need, have demonstrated academic excellence. The fund is used to provide one or more academic year scholarships for undergrads and graduates, including enrolling freshmen, who exhibit academic merit and financial need at the University of Kansas. Preference is given to students who have exhibited exceptional courage, leadership and achievement as part of the LGBTQIA+ community. Candidates are Kean University students with a minimum 3.0 GPA who identify as LGBTQIA or allies of LGBTQIA individuals or communities. Applicants do not have to be LGBTQIA, and will be considered regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
