The Los Angeles LGBT Center’s Rainbow Youth Scholarship provides scholarships to LGBTQ+ youth engaged in higher education. This scholarship fund was created to assist youth in reaching their career and educational aspirations, and founded on the belief that all young people are deserving of a supportive educational experience.

The Ramblers Scholarship supports student athletes pursuing an undergraduate education who self-identify publicly as LGBTQI or as demonstrated and committed straight allies. Purpose LGBTQIA+ individuals face greater socioeconomic and health disadvantages compared to their heterosexual & cisgender counterparts. With this fund, we aim to assist members of the LGBTQIA+ community, including straight and cis allies, in achieving their education goals through offering financial support during their enrollment in an institute of higher learning.

The Daniel C. Orey Equity Scholarship is intended to provide financial support to students at Sacramento State.

A total of $10,000 may be awarded. Up to three scholarships of varying sizes may be available for students of any North Carolina accredited high school in the Sandhills region which includes the following counties: Cumberland, Hoke, Harnett, Lee, Montgomery, Moore, Richmond, or Scotland counties in North Carolina. One scholarship totaling $5,000 and two additional scholarships of $2,500 may be available. The $5,000 Scholarship is paid out over multiple years as follows: Year 1: $2,500, Year 2: $2,500. Scholarship funds must be used for educational expenses. To be eligible for these funds, you must meet the following requirements: 1. Be a graduating high school senior entering an institute of higher education. 2. Be a resident of the Sandhills region of North Carolina in one of the counties listed above. 3. Identify as a gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, gender queer, gender nonconforming or other LGBTQ+ student, or straight ally, who has demonstrated advocacy for equality of the LGBTQ+ community.4.
